Web Designer / Graphic Designer

Positions available in Johor Bahru, Malaysia.

Lavatech is growing! We are looking for the best web designer in the country to design gorgeous layout and user interface for websites.

Do you have the ability to make things look better? Are you up to date on current web design best-practices? Are you familiar with web usability and browser compatibility issues? Do you know the balance of style and functionality?

The candidate should be creative at conceptualizing and value classic/clean design styles over trends. You will be responsible for creating table-free web layout using XHTML/CSS, produce flash animation and catalog design as well as contribute to the overall direction of the company in terms of visual design.

Requirement:

• Diploma or equivalent (B.S. or M.S a plus)
• Prefer table-less design using XHTML/CSS standards
• Expert in Photoshop, ImageReady, Illustrator, Flash, ActionScript and Dreamweaver
• Familiar with website usability, accessibility and browser compatibility issues
• Experience with PHP/MySQL programming is a plus
• Excellent communication skill and ability to work independent or in a small-team
